Remember that once the express tracks are used between Jay Street and Church Avenue, the <span style="color:#009900;"><strong>G</strong></span> <strong>must</strong> use the local tracks and terminate at either Church Avenue or Kings Highway. There are no other stations where trains can be turned back.<br /><br />But that leaves other options for the <strong><span style="color:#ff6666;">F</span></strong>. Some <strong><span style="color:#ff6666;">F</span></strong> trains can run express, others can run local as not to penalize passengers boarding at local stations. Back in the day <strong>Coney Island</strong> bound trains were the expresses, and <strong>Kings Highway</strong> bound trains were the locals.<br /><br />Some have suggested extending the <strong><span style="color:#ff6666;">V</span></strong> to Church Avenue during rush hours as the local service. The Culver line is the only Brooklyn line that does not have some express service on it.
